The Circular Economy of Liquorificio Morelli at Banchi di Gusto 2024

The event, now in its 13th edition, will address themes of sustainability and the fight against food waste.

On Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, under the Logge di Banchi in Corso Italia, Pisa, the Banchi di Gusto returns: the traditional trade fair event linked to the gastronomic and restaurant sector.

Liquorificio Morelli will be present with its stand to showcase and introduce to the public all our products related to the main theme of the event: sustainability, circular economy, the fight against food waste, and the reuse of food scraps.

For example, our Cantuccini (whose orange and lemon peels are the same ones extracted from the alcohol that will give life to our Arancino and Limoncino) and the products from the Anyma cosmetic line, created exclusively from recycled lemons, will be on display.

But that’s not all. Banchi di Gusto is known for the excellence it has always hosted: master chocolatiers, chefs, academic luminaries, and international guests, who will alternate between interviews, show cooking, and round tables.

A round table, specifically on Saturday, April 27, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, will see us as main speakers: Roberto Bensi, Head of the Domestic and Export Commercial Office of Liquorificio Morelli, will take the stage at the Logge di Banchi to discuss Circular Economy and the valorization of food resources.

This meeting, moderated by journalist Francesca Franceschi, promises to be stimulating and rich in content: alongside our Roberto will be Nicolò Bianucci from the San Miniato farm “I Seminanti,” and Professor Alessio Cavicchi, a full professor of Agribusiness and Rural Development at the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Sciences at the University of Pisa, and delegate from the Magnificent Rector for the promotion of entrepreneurial culture and innovation.

Roberto Bensi will personally bring the experience of a historic Tuscan liquor company, ours, and will discuss the present and future of our company: how Liquorificio Morelli over the years has successfully applied the principles of the circular economy, but also what our goals are to overcome future challenges in sustainability and circular economy.

Do not miss it. We look forward to seeing you at Banchi di Gusto.
